As the headwaters of the Hamilton Lakes Chain of Lakes, 4th Lake is centered in a very private 136 acre tract of wilderness. 4th Lake is approximately 10 acres with 1/3 being deeper, with varied fish species, and the other 2/3 being prime waterfowl habitat. It's home to sandhill cranes, geese, and many varieties of ducks. Several places along the shore there are bubbling springs that supply the lake with it's fresh water.
